The 2015 Healthcare Innovation Week was held from October 19 to 23 at the University Hospital Center Ste-Justine (CHUSJ). It brought together stakeholders of healthcare innovation from all horizons: industry, education, policy, urban planning, architecture, environment, management, technology and, of course, health. Olivier Perrin, CEO of Alsago and President of FutureWithPast, was invited to explain the potential impact of Agile governance on the complex environment of healthcare.
Agile governance removes financial and technological obstacles
Healthcare in Quebec could rely on software engineering workshops such as the one proposed by FutureWithPast to propel itself towards Agile governance within a few months. A software engineering workshop increases:
- Understanding of data
- Process control
- Autonomy of each party
- Consistency between organizations and institutional memory
- Critical decision-making and anticipation
- Open innovation
- Agile governance, which combines rigor, creativity and leadership
The CHU Sainte-Justine is a partner of Alsago/FutureWithPast to start with pilot projects.
